Hi, I’m Naomi Grimm, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults in treating anxiety, depression, parent/child relationships and grief resolution. Wherever you are on your journey, I believe there is growth.
You are the only person who can fully know and write your story, and I want to offer you an environment where it’s safe to sit with your thoughts, explore what’s within and process the experiences of your life, and learn your perspective.
Counseling Approach
I have studied many personality assessments, including the Enneagram and Myers Briggs MBTI, which I use to address interpersonal strengths and concerns. My main approach is to help you, the client, improve your communication skills, increase your level of self-awareness and foster healthy interpersonal relationships in your life. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to explore your experiences and understand how your body and mind process and hold information.
Education & Experience
I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University; during my education, I served as a counseling intern at Beacon of Hope where I provided individual and group counseling for a variety of clients affected by varying mental health issues. My experiences have offered me extensive opportunities to work closely with parents and young children. In my free time, I prioritize spending time with my family, reading, and walking my dog.
If you would like to schedule a free, 15-minute introductory consultation with me, or otherwise schedule a session, call 616-499-4711 or click the “Schedule with Naomi” button below. I would love to get to know you personally and help you explore your next steps.
